Still don’t fully get it but I’m gonna assume you have a problem with the larger cast size. In which case, I’ll say what I say to everyone else. Wait until the first series is over before you judge.

topgear and bbc looks like a mess at the moment. sure I will give it a try, but I still think they should of killed it, and made a new show. new name.
sure everyone says topgear was a show before the clarkson trio. But topgear is what it is today because of clarkson. He took the show over and made it what everyone knows. No the BBC is just milking the name.
the BBC is doing the same thing american restoration just did. the show’s name is the onlything that is the same.

I think you need to look up the history of Top Gear because history is repeating itself. Top Gear was an utter disaster when it was relaunched but they stuck at it and forged their own identity which eventually went on to be the great success we know.
Chris Evans has done the right thing with torching the old format and going for his own take on the show whether or not it is a success is up in the air but just rehashing the old show will be disaster as we saw with TG USA.
All in all, the whole “it will suck because it is called Top Gear” is not only idiotic but hypocritical. The BBC has relaunched a bunch of shows with great success, most notably Top Gear itself. I don’t see why they won’t do it again.
